Bachelor Finale

Well, another one in the books for the franchise. Bachelor 17 ended with Sean Lowe making a difficult decision between Catherine and Lindsay. The finale took place in Chiang Rai, Thailand and Sean's family made the trip to help him decide between both of the ladies.

Ten years of the Bachelor

In honour of the 10th anniversary of the Bachelor Franchise, we thought that we would bring you the updates from the last 10 years:

• 124 rose ceremonies
• 789 roses handed out
• 407 contestants

that the Bachelor Nation have introduced to us through the 16 seasons of The Bachelor.  These are all approximate totals of course, but come join us on our journey of memories!

BACHELOR SEASON 1 – Alex Michel   

In 2002, management consultant Alex Michel became the first ever ‘Bachelor.’  With this being the first season, both Alex and the viewers were in for a few surprises.   By the end of the season, Alex had to choose between his two finalists; Amanda and Trista.  In the end, he thought his chances of a longer lasting relationship lay with Amanda.  After dating Amanda for a year (he didn’t propose,) the couple broke up. After his stint on the Bachelor, Alex immersed himself in his career.

The Bachelor 16 Finale
(and its Aftermath)

As we all know, last night the Bachelor season 16 ended with Ben and Courtney getting engaged. What we all still don't know, are they going to stay that way?

In the meantime, all you have to do is look at the headlines out today to see that there is so much doubt out there as to whether Ben and Courtney are a couple and even if they will last.

In Mail On-line, there are new pics of Ben and Courtney out in the park enjoying their day. Even though the article states it is a Courtney look alike, personally though, I say the brunette in the park with Ben the day before the Bachelor Finale IS Courtney. Guess they thought they'd get away with it.
